June 23, 2009 | perivision | 75 Comments I really do not understand this. But for some reason, I’ve been dropping more calls, and the quality of my calls seems to have degraded. I when I first upgraded, I tried to make a call and it sounded noisy like I had an analog connection. At first I thought perhaps since the baseband was upgraded, it just needed to re optimize the locations of towers. Well, 24 hours later, I have already dropped 4 calls! What the heck? I did a search on google and found nothing, so this could be some local issue, but 4 dropped calls in 24 hours??? I’m going to give this a few more days. If things do not return to normal then perhaps some extended testing is required. Has anyone else experienced this? {Update … I posted an old article here on reducing dropped calls.
