The Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2012 just wrapped up here in San Francisco and while there was plenty of good game related tech to see, one thing that really stood out for me was the brainwave controlled cat ears. These motorized robotic cat ears by NeuroSky, a manufacturer of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technologies for consumer product applications, win my Best Demonstration Award.

To promote the NeuroSky App Store, the NeuroSky GDC booth showcased various independent application developers’ projects using their SDK. The NeuroSky App Store looks to empower a wide community of gamers, specialized needs consumers, and brain wellness enthusiasts.
