Its a pretty simple idea right?  Get a box, a large show box should do, get a bunch of toilet paper rolls (empty remember, so that means when you finish off a roll, don’t through it away).

And I can see extending this idea for really big cords by using empty paper towel rolls. Of course, you will need a larger box but I’m sure you can find one somewhere.
