Ok, I would not have believed this if I did not see it myself.  We have an older apple keyboard that was just disgusting. Instead of trying to clean it by hand, someone recommended putting it in the dishwater.  What??  Ok, so my friend gave it a shot and low and behold… it works!!  Not only that, the key are not sticky anymore.
