Seems twitter.com is having some issues today.  First it was showing odd returns on the timelines, sometimes seeing other tweets the I know I do not follow.  Then it the #newTwitter was deprecated to the old twitter.com.  Then they went down all together.  Still down as of this writing.  However, when I go to twittFilter, (my twitter client) its still working.  So what is the problem?

No idea, but I have a guess. The new twitter was suppose to use nothing but API calls just like any other twitter app would use.  Cool idea right?  Well, if my basic app is working, then I have to guess one of the newer API calls is the problem. So if you really need to use twitter, then I recommend you simply find an older twitter app or phone client that does not relay on some of the newer API calls.  You should be fine. 🙂
