March 9, 2011 | Damon | Leave a comment During GDC I was invited to check out some new titles from SEGA. Given the love I have for SEGA as an old school gamer, I had to go check it out. First up is Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is a racing game in the Sega Superstars series produced for Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and Windows, featuring characters from many Sega franchises. I got the chance to play the port of the game for iOS that is not out yet. A fun game with decent graphics and using the phone to steer was a nice touch. SEGA Rally Online Arcade, a new HD title inspired by SEGA’s Rally Revo and Rally 3, will be racing onto PlayStation3 and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system in 2011. SEGA’s arcade and console favorite will include a collection of new features, including the ability for gamers to race their friends online. I personally am a fan of this type of racing game. It has the classic feel of the older arcade racers and the way the road changes as cars race over it added a nice sense of realism. As Ben says in the video, stay tuned for the release date.
