I mean I wrote about the possibility of reduced reception based on how you hold the phone almost more then a year ago in a post called ‘Four Tips to Reduce Dropped Calls for the iphone 3G… again So its not like it was not a know issue.  And if they did know about it, whey were they not upfront and simply say, hey, to get better reception, please do not hold it this way or AT LEAST include a simple case to protect against attenuation.  Sadly, neither.  So we have yet to hear anything about the antenna reducing dropped calls.  But, only time will tell.

Now as promised, the video showing just how bad the attenuation can be…
