Verizon (VZ) and Apple (AAPL) are discussing the possible development of an iPhone for Verizon, with the goal of introducing it next year, people familiar with the situation say.

Really?  Wow.  And the buzz I was hearing the last few days with that Apple was quite happy with AT&T… Also, seems the the Jobs mister is in on it. If I could get my iphone on the Verizon network, I would be switched before the next sunrise.  Why? Because when I have my Treo650, I had pretty darn good reception, both data and voice. Since AT&T, I’ve learned to ‘deal’ with a few shades of less service.
