I’m not going to go into details on why I do not like itunes, but here is an easy way to get your images if you are using XP.  Just plug the iphone in!  You should get a popup in a few sec’s asking what to do with the images on your device.  Nice eh?  This is really useful because more then once I lost photos on the phone making changes on itunes.
